This morning I went into the Homeland Security office for my naturalization interview. Daddy drove me and we took Acacia after we dropped off Timothy and his classmate at his school. We arrived there just in time, but after going through the security check I had to wait in the waiting area for about 30 minutes... while daddy took care of Acacia(including a poopy diaper) in the car.

The interview was very easy, I actually over-prepared. The lady officier asked me some basic questions like my name, address, if I had ever commited a crime... etc... then here were the questions I was tested:
(1) how many stripes are on the flag?
(2) What makes up the congress?
(3) Who is the TX governor?
(4) For how long do we elect senators?
(5) How many states in the union?

She was reading from a sheet of paper that contains about 15 questions, but she only asked me 5 since I got the answers correct she didn't go on with the questions. Then she asked me to read out a sentence:
"We have a very clean house".
I couldn't help but laughing when I saw this sentence. I read it out loud then told her, but our house is not very clean!! She said, you have 2 boys, and it's impossible to have a clean house with 2 boys!! And she commented she has 1 boy and it's already hard to keep up with 1 boy.

Then She asked me to write down this sentence:
"This boy threw a ball".

Then after a few more questions, she asked me if I wanted to change my name, which I do. My American name will be Peggy Huang after I get the citizenship. So people won't call me "Mrs. Chang" any longer and wonder if Timothy and Jaocb have a divorced mommy :0)

Now I am just waiting to get a notice of the date for sworn-in and officially get the citizenship certificate.

After the interview, it was about 10:30 so we even had time to go to Costco for some groceries before daddy went to work!!
