On Sunday night when we went to Yiuman and Jubilee's house, they gave us a
5 gallon fish tank. It's a pretty new and cool one. We set it up that night
and today after my yoga class I took Timothy to walmart to buy some new fish
for our new tank. We chose 2 Red Belly piranha, they grow to up to 16 inches
long(pretty big!!), but now they are about 2 inches long, still baby ones.
They are supposed to be pretty aggresive, so right now we just leave the 2
of them alone in the new tank. We later went to Petsmart to buy some filter
cartriges and a fake plant and a decoration stone for our new fishes.
Jacob & Timothy decided to name them "Pingu" and "Pororo", after 2 characters
in 2 different penguin cartoons. Pingu and Pororo are pretty shy, they like
to hide behind the stone. Hopefully one day they will be trained to come
out and meet us.

For our 1st fish tank we also bought 2 goldfishes, one is white with black
spots, the other is gold and white. They have pretty fins and tails, and
when they swim they wiggle their bodies, very cute! All the 4 fishes get
settled to the tanks pretty well. Hopefully they will live a long life. (if
not, Walmart offers a 3-day money back guarentee :0)

Today for dinner I made 3 dishes: pork chops, lemon pepper garlic shrimps,
and silk melon(grown in our garden). They kids enjoyed the meal a lot. It
really encouraged me to spend more time and energy to prepare meals for my
dear ones. This is what a mother is for.

The weather has been great it's much easier to wait for Jacob to get off
school now. I usually leave the house at around 2:05pm, arrive MST at 2:20-
2:25pm, find a shaded area and park, then row down the windows and relax.
It's nice to enjoy the little breeze without having to use the A/C all the
time. Jacob usualy gets out the door at 2:50pm, and we usually get home
a little bit after 3pm. This is one thing I actually enjoy doing, to pick
up Jacob everyday after school. I enjoy watching his face light up when
he sees mommy waiting for him. I wish I can alway do that for my boys. So
even if I have to go back to work in the future, I want to make sure to be
there to pick up my kids.

Jacob has already finished 3 of the little hooked on phonics books(level 1).
Hooked on phonics is such a wonderful system to teach kids phonics. We've
been only using it for about 2 weeks and have already coverd more than 100 words
I believe. Way to go Jacob! I am proud of you! Today we also learned some
Chinese words, such as: 大 小 日 月 耳 田 山... Jacob remembers most of these
words as I taught him before, and today for the 1st time Timothy also wanted
to learn. I told them they are 'Chinese American' (America-born-Chinese, or
ABC), so it's good for them to know Chinese. And they enjoy learning it.

I will take some pictures of our new fishes and post them soon. Also I will
post some pictures where Jaocb was dancing(looks like Hip-hops), very very
cute!!
