這幾天開始練習打中文...速度當然還是混慢啦, 不過相信慢慢會愈來愈快底...

Let's come back to the English mode so I can finish today's blog and
go to bed before dawn :0)

Yesterday we went to the park after I picked up Jacob. It was perfect
weather, so I decided we've got to make good use of the good weather,
and not just stay home all the time. The boys had a great time riding
the bikes, they rode along the sideways in the park, on the grass, and
even in the shelter. There was another little boy who is 3 years old,
he followed my boys all the way, and the 3 of them rode bikes chasing
each other. I was able to sit on the bench and relax. It was just
wonderful. The boys tried to play on the playset, but realized they
have grown so much in the last year, and the swings and playsets now
seemed so small for them. It's really amazing how much my boys grew just
in 1 year. we visited the ducks, as usual, and saw some squirrels running
under the trees,...all was like a picture, calm and peaceful.

Today we were planning on going outside to play again, but grandma
Joanne called and said her molar teeth on the right upper side were
falling off and that I needed to take her to see the dentist asap. I
immediately made an appointment with Dr. Mai and went there with Grandma
and the boys at 3:30pm. The teeth didn't look good, both the X-rays and
Dr. Mai confirmed the news. And it was decided that it's best for
Dr. Mai to pull out the remaining tooth and the broken tooth. Grandma
was afraid it will cost a lot but I felt no matter how much it was,
it's best not to wait any longer, and just let Dr. Mai did what she
thought was the best. Because Dr. Mai was so busy with patients so we had
to go back at 5:30pm. We came home while grandma went back to work
for another hour. Both boys were hungry so they ate their peanut butter
& jelly sandwitches(jelly for Jacob and peanut butter for Timothy).

It was quite an experience to watch grandma's teeth being pulled out.
The teeth that was in the very back was easy to pull out, it took
Dr. Mai about 5 seconds. But the most front of the 3 was hard, since
it was broken and only pieces were still in the gum. Dr. Mai had to
use different kinds of tools... too scary to watch so I decided to
read a magazine instead.

Dr. Mai gave us a good discount, she took away the consultation fee
which is $60 and gave another 10% off on everything else. The total
came out to be $201. Not bad at all. Of course it would have cost only
a small fraction if this was done in Taiwan. But we can't really
complain. It's already good deal. Others told my mom it took them $300
just to pull 1 tooth out. Now my mom would have to suffer a few days
for the after-procedure pain and bleeding. But at least she won't have
to worry about these 3 swollen and falling off teeth. I pray the Lord
will bless her and she will be able to go back to Taiwan early next
year to have a complete physical exam and have all her problematic teeth
taken care of.

This morning I really enjoyed the meeting. It was about the death of
Christ and it's effectiveness on our daily living. On the way to the
meeting I was reminded of Hannah's consecration of her son back to
God and I was very touched in my spirit that I turned to the Lord and
prayed to Him that I consecrate my 2 sons to the Lord. May the Lord use
them totally for His economy, and that the Lord will grant me wisdom
to be a good shepherd to keep His sheep before they are fully mature.
Oh Lord keep me in my spirit more and more and that I will experience
your death and therefore experience the power of your ressurection!!
