酒泉十月十二日:　
中国第二艘载人飞船“神舟”六号今天从这里发射升空，又有两名中国航天员踏上太空之旅。
What a great milestone for the Chinese people! This time 神舟六号 will stay
in the space for 5 days. Although we are 50 years behind the US, China is
the 3rd country in the world to achieve this great goal. I am so proud of
being a Chinese! Go Chinese rocket!!!

Last night when I was teaching piano, Timothy started crying and shortly
afterwards he started vomiting. My poor baby. It must be a stomache virus.
Grace had the same thing 1 day prior, and all of them played together on
Sunday night, I think the virus is now spreading everywhere, in the
schools, in the public places... He vomited a few times last night, and
when he started to feel a little better I gave him 7 drops of ATP2 in the
water, he drank a little then fell asleep. ATP2 really works wonders.
This morning he slept until 12pm. Amazing. His body must be so tired from
trying to recover. He woke up, vomited a little(there was nothing left in
his tummy, just some yellow fluid). After a while, when he seemed to calm
down, I gave him a little more ATP2 with water, just 1 sip every few minutes.
And very soon he felt better, I gave him some porridge(very watery). Then
later he could eat some with shredded pork. By the time we picked up Jacob
from school he was already half way healed. We went to Kroger and bought
2 frozen young hen, to make yummy chicken soup.

At dinner time both boys were hungry, they both ate a lot of noodles with
chicken soup. And thank the Lord my little boy is back to normal. I've never
experienced such a short-lived stomach virus. I am happy the technology
is so advanced there are good quality health supplement to use. Here in
American culture, when someone gets sick, usually family will cook chicken
soup, it's believed to heal both the body and the heart. Kind of like Chinese
culture, I think it's the love and warmth in preparing for the sick family
member that heals. We also made strawberry chesscake muffins, honey bran
muffins and some cheese biscuits, all from premixed packages. So convenient
and yummy. oh, when I said "yummy" Timothy corrected me, "no, mommy, not
yummy, it's "delicious"!! My little boy, wanting to use fancy words now. :-)

We've decided we will cancel Timothy's birthday party on Saturday night,
because we want to aviod further spreading of the germs to the other kids.
I promised him I will still order him a cake, I am thinking just a small
fruit tart cake from La Madelines... SO YUMMY!! so it will be just our
family, a small but intimate birthday celebration for our 4 year old
Timothy!!

Tomorrow is Timothy's field trip day. His class will be going to a church
nearby for pumpkin patch. I am excited too, we are going to see lots of
cute pumpkins and maybe we will get 1 or 2 for decoration.. and pumpkin
pies!!
